อัตราป่วยรายใหม่ต่อแสนประชากรและความชุกในประชากรของเด็กไทยอายุ 6-17 ปี ที่มีภาวะบกพร่องทางสติปัญญา ปี พ.ศ. 2566 – 2567 ภาพรวม “สูงขึ้น” โดยเขตสุขภาพที่ 2 “สูงสุด ทั้ง 2 ปี พ.ศ.”
เขตสุขภาพที่ 1, 7 และ 12 มีอัตราป่วยรายใหม่สูงขึ้น
ทุกเขตสุขภาพมีร้อยละความชุกสูงขึ้น
จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ มีอัตราป่วยรายใหม่สูงสุดเป็นอันดับแรกในปี พ.ศ. 2566 แต่ลดลงใน ปี พ.ศ. 2567
จังหวัดน่าน มีอัตราป่วยรายใหม่สูงขึ้นและสูงสุดเป็นอันดับแรกใน ปี พ.ศ. 2567
จังหวัดลำปาง มีร้อยละความชุกในประชากรสูงสุดเป็นอันดับแรก ทั้ง 2 ปี พ.ศ.
จำนวนผู้ป่วยใหม่จำแนกรายเดือน ขึ้นๆ ลงๆ ใกล้เคียงกัน ปี พ.ศ. 2566 สูงสุด ในเดือนมิถุนายน และปี พ.ศ. 2567 สูงสุดในเดือนตุลาคม
ภาวะความบกพร่องทางสติปัญญา เป็นภาวะที่บุคคลมีพัฒนาการด้านร่างกาย สังคม อารมณ์ ภาษาและสติปัญญาล่าช้ากว่าบุคคลทั่วไป ทำให้มีข้อจำกัดในการเรียนรู้ การแก้ปัญหา และการปรับตัวในชีวิตประจำวัน ทั้งนี้ ไม่ใช่โรคที่หายได้ แต่สามารถพัฒนาและเรียนรู้ได้ การรักษาเน้นการฟื้นฟูสมรรถภาพของสมองและร่างกาย เพื่อให้ดำเนินชีวิตในสังคมได้มากที่สุด ช่วยเหลือตัวเองได้ ไม่เป็นภาระแก่ครอบครัวและสังคมมากเกินไป และประกอบอาชีพได้

กลุ่มอายุ 15-19 ปี มีอัตรารับบริการสูงสุด (80.69 ต่อแสนประชากร)
เขตสุขภาพที่ 11 มีอัตรารับบริการสูงสุด (64.84 ต่อแสนประชากร)
5 จังหวัดที่มีอัตรารับบริการสูงสุด ได้แก่ ภูเก็ต นครศรีธรรมราช ระยอง ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ และชลบุรี
CARDIFF Model เป็นนวัตกรรมที่มี 4 ขั้นตอนเพื่อป้องกันความรุนแรงในครอบครัวและชุมชน เมื่อนำมาใช้เป็นแนวทางลดปัญหาความรุนแรงโดยใช้ข้อมูลถูกทำร้ายจากระบบคลังข้อมูลด้านการแพทย์และสุขภาพ (HDC) ได้ดังนี้
1. Data collection OPD, IPD, ER หน่วยบริการสาธารณสุขทุกระดับ บันทึกข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลและการบาดเจ็บเข้าระบบ HDC ผ่านคราวน์จังหวัดและกระทรวง
2. Data sharing ทุกหน่วยงานทั้งใน-นอกกระทรวงสาธารณสุขเข้าถึงข้อมูลระดับจังหวัด-เขตสุขภาพ-ประเทศ เข้าถึงได้ real-time ผ่าน HDC dashboard
3. Data combined รายงานข้อมูลกลุ่มเสี่ยงและพื้นที่เสี่ยง กรมสุขภาพจิต ระดับจังหวัด-เขตสุขภาพ-ประเทศ / สสจ. ระดับตำบล-อำเภอ-จังหวัด
4. Data translated into practical prevention นำข้อมูลกลุ่มเสี่ยงและพื้นที่เสี่ยง ระดับตำบล-อำเภอ-จังหวัด-เขตสุขภาพ-ประเทศ เพื่อวางมาตรการควบคุมป้องกันเพื่อลดปัญหาความรุนแรง
ความรุนแรง "ถูกทำร้าย" เช่น ถูกทำร้ายทางร่างกาย จิตใจ ทางเพศ และถูกทอดทิ้ง เป็นปัญหาที่ไม่ควรถูกมองข้าม ปัญหานี้ส่งผลกระทบต่อร่างกาย จิตใจ และสังคมของผู้ถูกทำร้ายและครอบครัว กรมสุขภาพจิตพร้อมดูแลจิตใจทุกราย สามารถโทรปรึกษาที่ 1323 ได้ฟรีตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง หรือโรงพยาบาลสังกัดกรมสุขภาพจิต
