จังหวัดมุกดาหาร พบอัตราป่วยรายใหม่ต่อแสนประชากรและร้อยละความชุกสูงสุดใน 5 อันดับแรก
จำนวนผู้ป่วยรายใหม่รายเดือนมีลักษณะขึ้นๆ ลงๆ ใกล้เคียงกัน สูงสุดในไตรมาสแรกทั้ง 2 ปี พ.ศ.
โรคจิตเภทเป็นโรคจิตเวชเรื้อรังที่มีความผิดปกติของสมอง มีระดับความรุนแรงที่หลากหลายและมีแนวโน้มมีอาการต่อเนื่องระยะยาว อาจมีช่วงที่อาการดีขึ้นเป็นระยะ ผลกระทบโรคนี้ทำให้ผู้ป่วยไม่สามารถทำหน้าที่ต่างๆ ได้ เช่น ดูแลตนเอง ทำงาน หรือเข้าสังคม โรคนี้รักษาด้วยยาและรักษาด้านจิตสังคม ทั้งนี้ การขาดยาทำให้กลับเป็นซ้ำได้บ่อย

แนวโน้มความชุกเพิ่มขึ้น ยกเว้นเขตสุขภาพที่ 12
แนวโน้มอัตราป่วยรายใหม่ต่อแสนประชากรและร้อยละความชุกจังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอนสูงขึ้น
จำนวนผู้ป่วยรายใหม่รายเดือนมีลักษณะขึ้นๆ ลงๆ แนวโน้มลดลงในเดือนธันวาคมและสูงขึ้นในไตรมาสแรกของปี พ.ศ.
โรคซึมเศร้า เป็นโรคจิตเวชที่พบได้บ่อย จากปัจจัยสังคม เศรษฐกิจ สภาพแวดล้อมที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไปอย่างรวดเร็ว รวมทั้งพันธุกรรมและเสพสารเสพติด มักพบมีอารมณ์เศร้า เบื่อหน่าย หงุดหงิด สิ้นหวัง ไม่อยากทำอะไร ไม่อยากอาหาร นอนไม่หลับ และมีความคิดหรืออยากตาย โรคนี้สามารถรักษาให้หายได้ ทั้งนี้ บุคคลช่วยกันสังเกตตัวเองและคนรอบข้างว่าเข้าข่ายโรคซึมเศร้าหรือไม่ จะช่วยลดผลกระทบต่อคุณภาพชีวิตได้

ศูนย์สุขภาพจิตที่ 1 ได้ดำเนินงานตามแผนงานยุทธศาสตร์กรมสุขภาพจิตในช่วงแผนพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติฉบับที่ 13 (2565 - 2569) โดยมีการดำเนินงานที่สำคัญเพื่อบรรลุ ตามวิสัยทัศน์ : ศูนย์สุขภาพจิตที่ 1 เป็นองค์กรหลักด้านการส่งเสริมสุขภาพจิตและป้องกันปัญหาสุขภาพจิตระดับเขตสุขภาพด้วยระบบสุขภาพจิตดิจิทัล เพื่อให้ประชาชนสุขภาพจิตดี เจ้าหน้าที่มีความสุข ยุทธศาสตร์ในการขับเคลื่อนงานสุขภาพจิต ปี 2566 ประเด็นยุทธศาสตร์หน่วยงาน ยุทธศาสตร์ที่ 1 สร้างความรอบรู้และพฤติกรรม สุขภาพจิตที่พึงประสงค์ยุทธศาสตร์ที่ 2 ส่งเสริม สนับสนุน การดำเนินงานสุขภาพจิตในพื้นที่ให้เข้มแข็งด้วยนวัตกรรมสุขภาพจิตและเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลยุทธศาสตร์ที่ 3 บูรณาการงานสุขภาพจิตในระบบบริการผ่านกลไกเครือข่ายเขตสุขภาพ (Sandbox) และยุทธศาสตร์ที่ 4 สร้างมูลค่างานสุขภาพจิตด้วยการพัฒนาบุคลากรให้มีความเชี่ยวชาญและสมรรถนะสูง โดยศูนย์สุขภาพจิตมีบาทบาทในการศึกษา วิเคราะห์ วิจัยและพัฒนาองค์ความรู้ด้านการส่งเสริมสุขภาพจิตและป้องกันปัญหาสุขภาพจิตในเขตพื้นที่รับผิดชอบ พัฒนาศักยภาพเครือข่ายในเขตพื้นที่รับผิดชอบ

คนไทย 4.4 ล้านคน เป็นโรคจิตเวชและมีปัญหาสุขภาพจิตในช่วง 12 เดือน มีเพียง 10.6 % ที่เข้าถึงบริการ
คนไทยมากถึง 89.4% ยังไม่เข้าถึงบริการ
ในช่วง 12 เดือน 4.9% เข้ารับบริการกับหมอสมุนไพร หมอนวด หมอแผนโบราณ ฯลฯ
มีเพียง 3.7% ที่รักษากับบุคลากรสุขภาพจิต
การเข้าถึงบริการกลุ่มโรคสูงสุด 3 อันดับแรก ได้แก่ โรคซึมเศร้า 16.8%กลุ่มความผิดปกติของพฤติกรรมเสพสารเสพติด 15.6% และมีประสบการณ์คล้ายโรคจิต 13.1%

3 จังหวัดที่พบสูงสุด 5 อันดับแรกทั้ง 2 ช่วงเวลา คือ ลำปาง น่าน และอุตรดิตถ์
จำนวนผู้ป่วยใหม่อายุ 6 - 15 ปี รายเดือนมีแนวโน้มขึ้นๆ ลงๆ สูงสุดที่เดือนมิถุนายน 2566 และกรกฎาคม 2567
โรคสมาธิสั้นเป็นความบกพร่องทางพัฒนาการของสมองตั้งแต่เกิด มีสาเหตุจากพันธุกรรมและปัญหาช่วงตั้งครรภ์ เด็กมีลักษณะซนอยู่ไม่นิ่ง หุนหันพลันแล่น วู่วาม ใจร้อน และขาดสมาธิ โรคนี้สามารถรักษาหายได้ ผู้ปกครองและครูร่วมกันปรับพฤติกรรม เด็กจะมีโอกาสสูงในการดำเนินชีวิตได้ตามปกติ
